This is a no frills, little sandwich spot on the east side of Burlington that's been around since 1977. The menu is not especially broad - burgers, hot dogs, subs, sandwiches (including Gyros, Chicken or Pork Souvlaki, Chicken Salad, Tuna Salad, Grilled Chicken, and a few more), a few salad options, a hand full of platters, some sides, and a few desserts.
We tried a Cheeseburger with a side of FFs, a Hot Dog with mustard, chili, and onions, and a side order of Potato Salad. This along with 2 diets Cokes came to $12.06, not bad at all. The food was out of the kitchen in a flash, and everything was very nice, as it should be. The burger is a typical diner style, meaning a bit on the small side, but with a very nice flavor. The FFs were the ridges kind, but here they were cooked to a nice crispy exterior.
The Hot Dog was also on the smallish side, but had a nice amount of very flavorful chili, and a decent wiener. The potato salad has a bit of mustard in it, and this was very tasty.
The food was good, the time out of the kitchen was excellent. The only down side was the young lady who took our order was not especially helpful, and not at all engaging or informative. We ask about the onion rings and the lemon cake, and got a curt response that she had not tried either, and didn't know. -

Went for lunch recently with the wife, who had been here before with a friend. She liked it, so I thought we would give it a try. The menu is typical Greek and American lunch fare that you would find in a mom and pop shop operation. Wife had the chicken gyro, which looked good. She liked it. I opted for a salad as I need to maintain my svelte "girlish" 200 lb figure. Really disappointed. They use pre-made Italian dressing rather than a Greek dressing or just olive oil and lemon juice! And, no choice to get anchovies, not that most folks like them, but if you are a real Greek restaurant at least let folks know it is available. My guess is that Demeter, Greek goddess of food, does not eat here. Given that an Italian place on the other side of town has a better Greek Salad, she probably eats there under her Roman name of Ceres.

The food here is pretty good. They have great cheese sticks and the Greek salad is awesome. If only they weren't always closed. I stopped by on a Sunday and they were closed. The following week I drove by on a Saturday and they were closed again.

This place offers subs and sandwiches. They also have some platters like chicken tenders or souvlaki. I usually order steak and cheese sub or souvlaki gyro! Both are great and I like their cucumber sauce (tzatzki) excuse the spelling if it's wrong but although this isn't the most authentic Greek place it is still good. Give this place a try for lunch if your craving a sub.
